I'm in one of those moments of time where I want to be creative...I want to dance, draw, make a card, write a song, etc. So I'm writing a blog, a blog about nothing and everything. Where to begin?
Yesterday was I Love America and it was awesome. Ben and I spent the day helping backstage with the bands. When we arrived at the site in the morning, it was a dark, cloudy morning that kept promising to send a downpour of rain, but God always comes through, every year for I Love America and the rain & clouds left leaving us with a bright sunny day. A beautiful day to the surprise of some our musicians, although we did tell that it wouldn't rain. Ben helped with transitioning bands during sound check and on & off stage. I ran around with/for Brandi helping set up band booths, feed people, and clean up. All the bands were awesome, musically and personality, especially when some were playing for free. The bands were Fundamental Elements, Storyline, After Edmond, and Group 1 Crew. The best part of I Love America was the salvations, 252 people got saved!!! Then there was the fireworks with Noel and the Bell kids in the Bell's car. It was fun, super funny to watch Rilyn's reaction to the fireworks. I met up with Ben, Brandi, and Jamie and we did some cleaning up around the tent, then Ben and I left for home exhausted in our dusty car.
Ben and I are waiting, waiting, waiting, and waiting on God. We have to be out of our house in August, but we don't really know what we're doing...
Things at the Wilson Creek campus are going great. God is doing some awesome things! It is so cool to see what He is doing in the lives of students at Realife. Camps were awesome for the students and for the leaders. God is working on students' lives and it is so exciting to see what God is doing in their lives.
I know you're used to living in a house but my suggestion is contact the Assemblies of God Headquarters and ask them about living in their apartments. They have 1 and 2 bedroom apartments for CHEAP! That's where Luke and I lived before we bought our house...It definitely was worth it!
