My favorite month is December. :) Why? Because people are thinking of others, giving to the less fortunate, and more people are thinking about Jesus. December also means that a new year is about to begin, snow will hopefully falling, and I get to give gifts to people!!! I love giving!!! I love seeing people smile when they get the perfect gift, I love being able to bless someone without them knowing it was me, and I love the hunt for just the right gift. I love giving!!!!
Which is funny because I don't always give with the same a cheerful and excited heart to God as I do have when I give to other people. Although I know my blessing in return will be greater from God than those people, I struggle with giving extra to Him, probably due to the fact that giving to God usually requires a lot of faith to go with it when giving to others is much easier on the test of faith scale. God wants my gifts as much as he wants me to give it willingly and with a cheerful heart (the same one that appears when I give the perfect gift to the perfect person)...
