Journeys

Going on a trip takes time, money, and emotions.
We all know that is a fact. Whether we go on vacations, a quick trip, or go visit family. It takes time, money, and requires us to show/use emotions.
Same with journeys in life. We go on many journeys in life, they can be short or long, sad or happy, but they all take time and investment from us. Yes that investment includes money, time, and emotions; in different ways perhaps, but you're still investing a lot.
Ben and I are going to start on a new journey this year. We are sadly leaving James River and Realife with our last service on July 11th. We are excitedly going to new a church where Ben will be the volunteer worship pastor and I will be supporting him in that role. I will also be a first year teacher at Schofield Elementary teaching 2nd grade, and that is very exciting.
We have invested a lot into a great church and youth group, which makes it hard to leave, but also easy in knowing that we have given our all and God is ultimately, always in control. We are excited to invest in a new church family and to grow in our personal walks with God as this will be a time of new personal challenges for us.
