Psalm Monday #9

Psalm 26
I find it interesting that when David refers to a living a blameless, he doesn't refer to a life without sin, but to a life that is fully trusted in the Lord.  This life that has been entrusted fully into the Lord is asking to be redeemed and for God to have mercy on him.

Psalm 27
Whom shall we fear no one except God.  No matter what's happening we seek and wait on God knowing that he'll be there for those who are living for him.

Psalm 28
Doesn't it feel like at times that God doesn't hear us in our times of trial, but he does.  Verse six starts the praise for God's protection and mercy like at the end of verse seven, "My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song."

Psalm 29
All I have to say is that this just reminds me of how powerful God is, but he still loves and cares for us.  Compare verse nine which talks about his power with verse eleven that speaks of his blessings.
