Psalm 37
This psalm is so encouraging to me because there are many times I look around and say why do they get that and I don't. They don't love God, they do horrible things, they, they, they. When I need to remember and be thinking about Him, Him, Him. Verse four is a promise of that God will do when we're focused on Him. He'll take care of the wicked and our reward will come.
This morning I really love verses five and six. Trust God and your righteousness and the justice of your cause will shine. My favorite part of that "the justice of your cause." How many of our causes are about the injustice of things?
It makes me think of A21 and how God has made the cause shine and doors open for girls to be saved. Just one more thing about this psalm, I was very challenged by verses 30 and 31. When God's law is on your heart and you are following Him then you will be able to speak wisdom and justly into lives. It challenged me because I wondered when the last time I had taken a verse and put in my heart? Last fall...almost a year ago...sad.
There is so much more that I love about this psalm. What is your favorite part?
