I have a few favorite crime shows. Currently, I enjoy watching Bones, NCIS, and NCIS LA. Past shows that have led to my current shows are Crossing Jordan and JAG. Right now, I'm watching Crossing Jordan on Netflix and have fun seeing favorite characters in other shows.
NCIS star Sean Murray aka Tim McGee also played Danny Walden in JAG.
One in particular is Dr. Sidney Trumaine on Crossing Jordan portrayed by Eugene Byrd who later portrays intern and archeologist, Dr. Clark Edison, on Bones. While both characters work with dead people, the characters have different & similar personality traits. Sidney is very rough around the edges, works hard, likes to be right, and is willing to stand up to authority. Clark has all the same working personality traits, but is very polished and focused.
As I was catching up on NCIS last night, Ravi Kapoor otherwise known as Dr. Mahesh Vijayaraghavensatanaryanamurthy aka Bug on Crossing Jordan made an appearance as Bashire Malik, mover of goods and unfortunately a terrorist.
Then as I watched NCIS LA, I was even more surprised to realize that I missed the connection of medical examiner Garret Macy portrayed by Miguel Ferrer playing the role as NCIS assistant director Owen Granger. In both he tends to be a bit overbearing and silent leader, although in Crossing Jordan he is a much more likable guy.
I love it when my favorite shows use characters from each other.

Veteran's Day
Today we honor those men and women who are serving in or have served in the armed forces in the United States. We recognize the sacrifices they have made and thank them for completing impossible tasks.
Today we say to them and those that watch us, that these men and deserve respect, encouragement, and support. Today we give them the thanks and honor that they deserve everyday.
I am proud to be a part of a multi-generational service family. I am proud to have grown up an army brat. I am proud to say my brother and father serve in the army. I am proud of my friends who have followed their dreams and those who have given their lives serving in the military.
Today, show honor, respect, and love to all service members.
