My Sister's Keeper

On Monday, Ben and I went with our friend Glori-Ann to see My Sister's Keeper.  It was a REALLY good movie, there was only one scene that I felt definitely could have been left out of the movie. It was also a really sad movie. I cried through quite a bit of the movie. But there was this one part that broke my heart not just for the characters in the movie but for the people who really ask this question...
Kate (the girl who is dying from cancer) is asked by her younger sister Anna, what happens when you die? Kate replies saying she doesn't know.... (This is all in my own words).
She doesn't know. How many people don't know what happens after they die????? How many people don't realize that they will end up in hell because they don't have a relationship with Jesus Christ, the Savior???? As my husband and I discussed the movie and life-altering decisions made in the movie, we decided that it would be a WAY different movie with the hope of Jesus Christ added in the picture.  Knowing that you and your family are Christians means that instead of death, you have eternal life with Jesus in heaven, this means that there is no need to fear death. But you can rejoice knowing that your loved one is no longer in pain and take comfort in the fact that you will see them again in heaven....
